How GoMining Works
GoMining is a cloud-mining platform that lets you rent Bitcoin hashrate by the terahash (TH). Instead of buying hardware, you buy hashrate, and GoMining runs the miners, handles maintenance, and credits your account with mined BTC every day. Here is what every number in MiningFlow means and how we estimate your profit.
Hashrate & Efficiency
- Hashrate (TH): the total computing power you own. More TH means more daily Bitcoin rewards.
- Efficiency (W/TH): how many watts of electricity each TH consumes. Lower is better. Modern miners are around 15–25 W/TH, and the most efficient marketplace options sit near 12 W/TH.
MiningFlow uses these two values to estimate your electricity cost and daily gross revenue.
Fees
GoMining deducts three main fees from your gross revenue:
- Electricity fee: a flat $0.05/kWh charge based on your W/TH and TH.
- Service fee: $0.0089 per TH per day for maintenance and hosting.
- Conversion fee: 2.25% skim on the BTC→GMT conversion when rewards are paid out.
Discounts
You can lower fees through two mechanisms:
- VIP tiers: higher hashrate or locked GMT unlock tier discounts, up to 6%.
- Token discount: locking GMT covers up to 20% of your fee bill, proportional to how much GMT you lock.
GMT Staking
Locked GMT also earns a staking APR (currently modeled at 18.69%). MiningFlow adds this staking income to your mining net profit to show a complete daily and monthly estimate.
